The program goal is to offer seasonal training sessions and camps to passionate freeskiers who want year round training options based out of the North Okanagan and Silver Star Mountain.

These offerings will focus on freeski skill and athletic development that will broaden the athletes trick portfolio. Head Coach Wade Garrod works closely with the passionate ski coach team to meet the goals of each athlete. OK Freeski will provide a positive, fun, and safe learning environment freeski ATHLETES and TEAMS.
Athletes participating in the OK Freeski programs are making a serious commitment to developing their freestyle skills. Athletes participating in OK Freeski programs fall into one of three categories:
GROOTS / DEVELOPMENT / PERFORMANCE
Every athlete signed up for OK Freeski is a keen and passionate skier and strives to learn tricks in the ski genres of freestyle, freeski and/or freeride. Although OK Freeski are focused on the disciplines of Big Air and Slopestyle other it is recommended that athletes train and compete in moguls or freeride during the winter season to build strong skier skills. Skiing, Air and Rails skills are the basic skills developed in this program. Strong basic athletic movements and injury prevention techniques are practiced throughout all levels of the OK Freeski program.
